We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Local Pharmacist to join our reputable pharmacy located in Limerick, Ireland. As a pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pharmaceutical care and customer service to our community. Your primary focus will be to dispense medications accurately and safely while offering expert advice and guidance to patients and customers.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
Valid pharmacist license from the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences, drug interactions, and medical terminology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
About the Role
Dispense prescription medications in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring accuracy and adherence to dosage instructions.
Review and verify prescriptions for appropriateness and potential drug interactions, consulting with healthcare providers when necessary.
Offer expert advice on over-the-counter medications, health supplements, and medical devices to promote optimal patient health outcomes.
Conduct medication counseling sessions with patients, explaining proper usage, potential side effects, and any necessary precautions.
Maintain accurate patient records and prescription information in compliance with pharmacy regulations.

Salary: €68,000.00-€72,000.00 per year
